There is a little floating disk in my pool that is a solar-powered fountain. Here it is floating in front of the bank of succulents beside my pool. I was in the pool, taking the photo.

Backyard Adventures
No one to talk to. Nothing to do.
A trip to the kitchen. A jaunt to the loo.
Nowhere to go to. Forbidden to roam.
If I want to travel, I’ll do it at home.
Down in my garden, the flowers and bees
pose for my photos whenever I please.
I record the sights just to prove I have traveled,

These little succulent flowers are tiny, so it is easy to overlook them.

I love these ancient grinding stones of Mexico and have about a dozen of them scattered through my garden. My plants crawl over them like jungle growth reclaiming the pyramids and other monuments of Mexico!
