Found these ladies in the courtyard of Viva Mexico, of course. They were the only thing there that rivaled the beauty of the little girls in their finery.

I didn’t even know I had a white hibiscus in my yard, but was greeted by this one as I left my house this morning Below is another view:
This Poor Poor Pearl is so battered that it is hard to tell what it is. I suspect a clematis, but I am very willing to be corrected. Tattered and ragged as it is, I still found it intriguing.

OKCforgottenman furnished the name of this flower. If you want to check to see if he’s right, you can look here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Asclepias_tuberosa
Twisted Sister: Columbine
(For my definitely-not-twisted sister Patti on her birthday. I never see columbines without thinking of mother, do you? This one is from our friend Patty’s garden.)

More buds from the Budweiser Brewery gardens.

This is one of the flower boxes at the Budweiser Brewery in Ft. Collins, CO that we toured today. The clydesdales were out on tour, but the flowers were present and out in full force. These were my favorites, but elsewhere there were day lilies, alyssum, cannas, roses and a number of other flowers.

Here is another unlikely bouquet. This time it is aloe and garlic blossoms. My semi-wild garden creates some strange bedfellows.
