Recent rains have brought out dozens of blooms and buds on my favorite hibiscus bush. It is so high that it stands far enough above the wall so my neighbors have emailed me thanking me for beautifying their world!!! I thank it for beautifying mine.

This beauty was one of dozens flanking the effigy of the Virgin Mary near the plaza in San Juan Cosala. The church is filled with hundreds.

I can’t remember where I was today when I had to stop and take a photo of this little beauty. (Smitha has told me it is a Crossandra. Thanks, Smitha. I see it is also called the Firecracker Plant.)
