I saw this cloud/jet trail combination from where I sat at an outside mall restaurant. I jumped up and tried out several locations, but decided I liked this view the best. This is my favorite type of palm tree.. such a beautifully sculpted trunk. It gives a bit of texture to this otherwise pretty smooth scene.

I like the composition. Clouds are always so interesting, but you have to be quick as they keep on changing.

I know. I took off to find the right angle, grabbing my MacBook Air and purse and camera, leaving my lunch, which was luckily still there when I came back. More easily replaceable than the purse or laptop, though, just in case.

Uf, good for you. A few weeks ago when I was capturing an event downtown I forgot all about my rucksack with my valuable stuff. Then I suddenly remembered, turned and did not see it. Panic! Till I realized I had had it on my back all the time. So silly.
