My friend Dianne actually went out of her (our) way to take me into this commercial blueberry field to see how blueberries grow: low to the ground and sporting these lovely red blooms. Yes, I picked this one to have a taste. Sweet and much tinier than it looks here. Then we fled before the blueberry farmer could grab his shotgun!

Blueberries are the commercial variety of Huckleberries, found wild in B.C. Bears love them. Probably the sasquatch too? Saskatoons, are what the same berry or very similar, can be found in wild places throughout Prairie Provinces. In all cases … yummy! Cheers Jamie

Ha. I don’t think anyone saw us, but it was fun to pretend they had. And, I only ate one berry! I could have offered to have paid them.
