I love the colours of heliconia. But … I am allergic to the smell. Makes me nauseous.

That is so strange. I am so allergic to flowers but for me heliconia have no scent. Such variety in our world!!! I also never smell the plumeria which some say have a strong aroma. Generally, floral scents are an anathema to me. Tuberosas, carnations or lilies? Forget it. I have to leave the room. Needless to say, I’m miserable at weddings and funerals.
