At 7 o’clock this morning, my gardener called to say there had been another rockslide coming down from the mountain in the arroyo where I’ve been walking for the past few mornings. I published those views of an idyllic scene and wildflower tangles that were taller than my head over the past few days. Today it is a very different scene. I went out to take videos. luckily I’m in the middle between two arroyos so the flows tend to go on either side of me. Fingers crossed.

Thanks, Cee. Paciano’s wife wanted me to walk up with her to see if the wildflowers were affected but I didn’t have on proper shoes.. or have the proper attitude to do so.

I’m so glad you selected the house you ive in rather than one a few houses away! Rock slides change the area forever, and a second one has to be scarier than the first! I’m glad you are ok, and it sounds as if your house was unscathed once again!
