
Still not fully opened, I caught this hibiscus half-unfurled.
For Cee’s Flower of the Day prompt.

I loved this planting of various succulents in an old tree stump at the Hacienda of the 17 Gardens in Guanajuato. I’ll be showing a few more details from those gardens in the next few days.

I just planted this hibiscus a little over a week ago and this is my first bloom. I think it is my new favorite. I planted another new one as well but can’t remember the color. I’ll share a photo when it blooms again as the original flower faded and fell off.
I don’t know what this lady is doing blooming way down here on the ground, but she seems to be doing okay, in spite of traffic on the brick pathway.
