I took these shots in my sister’s neighbor’s garden in Peoria, Arizona. Unfortunately, these blooms only last for one or two days. The ones in their white stage were a day beyond their prime.
This one I took just before leaving home 2 weeks ago. One week to go before I can check it out again.

When we first saw this gorgeous prickly pear, the flowers were fully spread like camelias, but by the time we got back several hours later and I photographed them, they had folded into roses. Just gorgeous. Be sure to click on photos to enlarge.

I love this bush in the yard of Tricia and Paul’s house across the street from my sister’s house in Arizona. Thanks to Janet Waters for identifying it for me. I had no idea that there was a bush variety of morning glory. Thanks, Janet.
My sister says this is lantana, but it is so different from any lantana I’ve ever had. First off, in size.
The flowers, which look large in the first photo, are actually tiny.
Here’s a photo of lantana from my yard.
In Mexico, lantana grows into huge bushes and even trees. Both leaves and flowers are much larger and I’ve never see any in solid colors. Always a new lesson in nature.
