The forwarding arrows seem not to be working. Hopefully WP will get this glitch taken care of soon. You can enlarge the photos by clicking on them individually.
For https://ceenphotography.com/2023/12/13/cmmc-december-teal-color/CMMC Challenge: Teal
As usual, I got a bit carried away. Tablecloths and water and blouses seemed to reign when it came to teal, but there were a few other interesting finds as I combed through my media file.
It seems as though the forwarding function to the next photo isn’t always working. You can also see photos enlarged just by clicking on the image.
If you use Chrome or Microsoft Edge, you won’t be able to enlarge and move through these photos by clicking on one and then clicking on the arrows. Obviously, someone at WP has created a glitch. If you switch to Safari or Opera or Firefox, you’ll be able to move through the gallery as before.

Please note: the forwarding function of the gallery seems not to be working on my site or others. I’ve notified WP and hope they soon have it functioning. Please come back in a while if you’d like to view the photos. You can enlarge them by clicking on the photos individually.

This orange hibiscus creates the fewest blooms of all the hibiscus in my garden. Makes me appreciate it all the more. Absence does make the heart grow fonder.

Classic Christmas hits, but can you suggest alternative artists for them?
1. Wherever you are: Blind Faith
2. Rockin’ around the Christmas Tree: The Chain Gang
3. That’s my Goal: Joe Namath and the Lime-Liners
4. Mistletoe and Wine: Alan Shephard taking solace while recovering from a bad case of athlete’s foot after returning from the Moon landing.
5. I saw Mommy kissin’ Santa Claus: Truman Hanks, the night his dad Tom came home sporting full-costume during the filming of Polar Express.
6. All I want for Christmas: Melanie Trump, handing Donald a map of the U.S.
7. Sound of the Underground: The Moles (yes, a real group)
8. Jingle Bell Rock A trio comprised of *Barry Manilow, Alexander Graham Bell and Elvis.
9. Can we fix it: The White House Plumbers
10. Somethin’ Stupid. Hate to quote the obvious, but come on now: Donald Trump

Century Plant or American Agave. Thanks, I.J. and Forgottenman for solving the mystery.

I can’t for the life of me remember what this flower is. Does anyone else know?
Forgottenman suggested I add THIS LINK to show what Zoe was like the first day I met her.

Darn!!! Paciano found this dead coral snake on the low outside wall that runs alongside the steps up to the second story of my house. They are venomous and can cause respiratory failure and death, although a search of the internet yielded the following information: A single death has been reported due to a coral snake bite in the United States in the last 40 years (roughly, since coral snake antivenom became available). Before that time, the estimated case-fatality rate was 10%, and the cause of death was respiratory or cardiovascular failure.
Another source says: Unlike pit viper venom, coral snake venom is primarily a neurotoxin. There is little or no pain and swelling, and symptoms may not appear for hours. But once symptoms do appear, they progress rapidly: euphoria and drowsiness, nausea and vomiting, headache, difficulty in breathing and paralysis.”
I’m so glad the dogs didn’t find it first. It is very confusing, because they seem to be two different snakes joined at the tail. I took this photo yesterday, but need to take another look tomorrow to see if it is one snake or two.
