This is one of the oldest hibiscus bushes in my garden–probably about 18 or 19 years old. I don’t think it’s ever been without 3 or 4 blooms in that entire time. Thanks for your daily gift, old friend!

This little geranium has certainly seen better days but there is something about its shape that I find very appealing.

Yolanda calls this flower an arete..or earring flower, so if she is correct, it is a white fuchsia, which I’d never seen before Pasiano brought me this plant. We’ll see what happens when that little round ball opens up. She’s probably right .

Two years ago, when the cats knocked over both of the huge precolumbian replica statues my husband and I bought to go on our entrance pedestals the day we bought our house 19 years ago, I decided to turn them into planters. The male has ferns planted in him and the female these moss roses. They decided to bloom for Easter. Happy Easter, everyone.

Asparagus Fern Floral Branch
This is the size of the branch of flowers above compared to my little finger. I think I need a manicure. I used this finger because most of the other nails are broken off. Hard work being isolated!
