Happy New Year, flower lovers. Mexicans call this an obelisco. I call it a hibiscus.. and beautiful. You’ve seen this same flower from two other angles. I’ll give it a rest for awhile, although I have a dozen more. New Year’s resolution.

Went to buy more poinsettias, which I did. And more ferns. But, couldn’t resist this hibiscus as well. Patti and Marti encouraged me!

Not quite fully opened today. Either it was at its prime yesterday, or the sun hasn’t hit it fully yet. Looks like a filly skirt!
