When I returned from two months at the beach, five different colors of kalanchoe were blooming on my front terrace. Here is a closeup of my favorite.
I returned from two months at the beach to find my poinsettias lusher than ever. Not just a Xmas plant here! (Click on photos to enlarge.)

This little green anthurium plant has been blooming for 14 months since Brad and Dave gave it to me for Xmas last year. When I got home, three of the flowers had turned yellow. I trimmed off the brown edges and repurposed them!

The Morning After

The flowers should have been thrown away weeks ago but I couldn’t give up on them until the last bit of color faded away. So it was with the party. The morning after, its souvenirs still remain.

Rick and Christine have been painting over every door in the Puesta del Sol. Here is a detail from one of my favorites: Flowers and Iguanas. The central flower is probably about 8″ across.
