My friend Brad took us to Teocintle Restaurante for dinner earlier this week and my dish was almost too pretty to eat, as were all the others. Is this close enough, Cee?

I started this post a few days ago and now have lost the prompt. It was basically to take closeups and then a matching more far-away scenic shot. I have the pics but not the prompt. If anyone knows the link, please share. Which do you prefer? Far away or close up?
For Sunshine’s Macro Monday prompt.

This photo was taken yesterday. I think this is about as pretty as the blooms on the poinsettia are going to get. I like this fish lips stage the best!

This photo was taken last night. The fish lips seem to have opened up to reveal unspectacular little flowers. I like the ones that look like little green ducks with yellow bills, head-on, in both shots. Can you spot them? There are a couple of parrots in there, too.

I’ve been zeroing in on this hibiscus since I got home 5 days ago. This one is about as personal as I’m going to get! You can click on it to zero in a bit more.

To me, this looks like a woman in robes with her arms up, standing on the back of a flying dove. Her face gleams white under her cowl and her yellow heart is exposed
See Cee’s audacious blue orchid HERE.

Most of these photos are severe recroppings of photos I’ve posted before. I love going back and playing with images, trying to improve on past sins!!!
