This is a new plant, under a year old, and the original flowers were a bit sickly looking, but the three new blooms have turned out well. A bit longer and narrower than the blooms on the huge plant I got from my friend Chuy just before he passed away. I had that plant for at least ten years before Pasiano managed to kill it while I was gone for a considerable amount of time.

I’ve shown a different cropping of this shot showing only the mums and one rose, but I love the juxtaposition of the elaborate bouquet and the rusty coffee can, so would like to show this one, as well.

When I came out this morning, the jade plant I showed yesterday sin flor, had bloomed. So here it is:

I love it when this huge jade plant bursts into bloom. It’s a reminder of my friend Chuy who died so many years ago. It was big when I brought it home from his house, but it is huge now. It reminds me of our antiquing journeys out into the country surrounding Chapala.
